Greed
By Ian Stevens

Dark, glossy, attractive obsidian;
weapons by it cause destruction and oblivion.

Shiny, beautiful precious gold,
cause wars, death, and lives to be sold.

Glistening rare pure diamonds,
providing greed, hate, theft, and violence.

Many treasures are truly needed and great;
but beware, for they can also breed hate.

Not everything is what it seems,
some may back stab, take and deceive.

Don't let greed take over and strive,
let responsibility, and care guide your life.
