Serenity

Light banishing
the shadows to
oblivion;
the moonlight shining on down
through the cold, dark night
and the stars of the heavens
scattered across the sky.
Within this peaceful night your
soul is lifted,
the spirit soars through the
dark mists of the shadows;
strengthening inside the moons
dark serenity.
God's peaceful shadow dimension
of the night
is filled with beauty, peace,
and solitude.
Within here, he lifts your soul
to a higher peace and great aptitude;
the moons serene peace calms the
spirit and you see only 3 things:
freedom
hope
peace
and yet the darkness and shadow
of sinful thoughts
are banished from your soul,
even though infused with the night.
In your mind the only thing you
believe in is
serenity, solitude and peace of
the stars, moon, and darkness of the night...
the moonlight serenity.
